Join us for a week-long gathering at Tsegyalgar West, the beautiful 3,000-acre retreat center of the International Dzogchen Community located in the wilderness of Baja California Sur. This gathering will serve as both a deep practice intensive and a vital space for community council meetings and scenario planning for the future of the Gar.

The retreat is structured around two main pillars:

1. Practice Intensive Deepen your connection to the teachings of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu through focused, collective practice.
   • Guardian Practice Focus: A special emphasis will be placed on Guardian practices, including the principal protector of the Dzogchen teachings.
   • Vajra Dance & Yoga: Integrate body, voice, and mind into the state of contemplation through the Dance of the Vajra on the Mandala, as well as Yantra Yoga sessions.
   • Self-Organized Practices: Time and space will be dedicated to self-organized community practices, allowing practitioners to share knowledge and practice together in the expansive natural setting.
2. Community Council & Scenario Planning As a community guided by the principles of the Gakyil, we will dedicate time to collaborative meetings discussing the future of the Gar in Baja.
   • Community wide council meetings
   • Scenario Planning: Collaborative sessions to discuss the future of Tsegyalgar West, international community initiatives, and sustainable stewardship of our 1,240-hectare land.

Accommodations & Logistics Tsegyalgar West offers a variety of options to suit different needs:

1. Casitas: Individual and shared casitas are available.
2. Camping: Bring your own gear and camp under the Baja stars.
3. Meals: will be provided by a local chef for the duration of the retreat.
4. Transportation to and from SJD airport is included.
